Menago Park in Bovolone
Situated between Bovolone and Salizzole, the Menago Park restores the typical wetland habitat of the plain, through a reforestation and environmental redevelopment. Some excavations carried out in this area over the years have unearthed archaeological relics and revealed information about local prehistoric settlements. Thanks to these discoveries, four prehistoric huts have been rebuilt on the isle in the lake in the middle of the park: today they are regularly visited by schools. In this park you can see a varied nature all year, thanks to a varied fauna and flora. In addition to it, the Menago Park is crossed by bicycle tracks, footpaths and fitness trails, particularly suitable for children.
