The Tartaro Wood is an area of great economic and commercial importance, due to the abundance of waterways which were useful transport routes in the past. You can walk or cycle along a three kilometres track, surrounded by thick shrubs gradually thinning out and turning into tall trees. Inside the wood there are country-elm-trees, ash-trees, country-maple-trees, wild cherry-trees, elder-trees, hawthorns and hazel-trees.
